Yozgat Cultural Center
The Project mass is first divided into two pieces according to the demand of the construction phase, and then -with the emphasis of the pedestrian flux between the functions- is put into a final setup that consists of 4 orthogonal clusters. The deconstruction of the masses with cultural and public functions within continues its way to the direction of the urban center.
the Main research-experiment subjects of the project are the different types of relationships between these 4 rigid structured masses and the injected parametric voronoi spine which not only regulates the public flux but also feeds the cultural functions. The building puts these two different construction technologies, design ideologies and morphological aestetics into war with each other, and goes after a setup which is in-between the functions, in-between the ideologies, in-between the technologies and in-between the morphologies.
