KTO - Chamber of Commerce, Kayseri

The new office building is designed as a metropolitan machine with an inherent generative tension. The tension is codified between private spaces including the internal office infrastructure and the public program including the urban integration paths and sunken platforms. This tension, then, becomes embodied at the core of the rigid main structure, dissolves it from within, and channels its hybrid offspring from the sunken earth to the rooftop as an architectonic flow. Rather than avoiding or domesticating the tension, therefore, the new office headquarters becomes the embodied affirmation of the conflict itself.
