Caferağa Sports and Cultural Centre

Every neighborhood has a center, and sometimes it needs to be revitalized to keep it healthy and active! Within the dense fabric of Kadıköy, an urban void is created to provide residents with a new place to breath. Doing this affords a new platform from which new sports and culture functions can be serviced. Program of the social centre is arranged along the edge of the site, maximizing its interaction possibilities within the neighborhood. The form of the building is then further developed to reflect the chaotic nature of its surrounding environment without compromising the holistic nature of a social centre.
