Beylikdüzü Municipality Bridge and Valley Competition Beylikdüzü is a district on the far European side of İstanbul with a rich landscape and topography. As the city has expanded, development started splintering due to cutting valleys with streams that feed into the Marmara Sea. These valleys, however, also provide opportunities for this developing part of the city to make large recreational areas that fit in between neighborhoods. One way to activate this change is by creating bridges above the natural landscape which stitch the urban texture together at strategic points. The bridges should then try to integrate into the park by housing and providing social functions within, while also having them read as sculptures that are installed within the design of the landscape.
